A Study on the Effect of Juvenile’s Strain andAnger on the Cyber BullyingSora Shin Abstract: The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of strain experienced in juvenile on cyberbullying abuse behavior through anger based on the theoretical background of general strain theory. The research method first classified cyberbullying, a dependent variable, into three factors through factor analysis. In addition, a structural equation model was constructed to analyze the effect of strain on cyberbullying in adolescents and to analyze the mediating effect of anger. In this study, family factors, school violence factors, and anger factors were all found to have an effect on cyberbullying abuse. Among school violence, non-physical violence has a greater impact on cyberbullying than physical violence. Both anger and family factors were also found to have an effect on cyberbullying. In addition, parental relationships have a slightly greater impact on cyberbullying than family activities. Suggestions based on the research results are as follows. Considering that the influencing factors identified in existing school violence studies are similar to cyberbullying, it is necessary to add preventive education on cyberbullying to the contents of the ongoing school violence prevention programs.
