This research paper seeks to take a theological approach to political dualism surrounding nuclear energy in the era of climate change. It is a well-known fact that climate change and energy discourse are very much exposed to political polarization. The nature of the nuclear energy debate is explored and how political framing affects its public perception, thereby creating dualistic tendency. It seems evident, however, that the fundamental principle of biblical interpretation is consistently conducted in ways that challenge and de-construct dualistic worldview, which necessitates the same attitude / approach be considered in the way we engage with other issues of public life. The holistic worldview, which is believed to be the preferred option in biblical thought, takes conscious / critical distance from the dominant political bias associated with these discussions.
