This study aimed to find out the educational support needed for children with language development delays in multicultural families and their teachers in the field of early childhood education by analyzing the teaching experience of early childhood teachers who teach children with delayed language development in multicultural families. For this purpose, individual in-depth interviews were conducted with four teachers who had experience in teaching children with delayed language development in multicultural families or who are currently teaching them. As a result of data analysis, 38 concepts, 11 subordinate categories, and 3 superordinate categories were derived. The results of this study are as follows. First, participants recognized that children with delayed language development in multicultural families were creating a constant cycle of difficulties in peer relationships and inappropriate behavior due to communication difficulties. Second, participants became more interested in delayed language development by guiding children with delayed language development in multicultural families. Third, participants requested support for teacher education, realistic family support, and teachers' awareness improvement on language development of children with delayed language development in multicultural families for children with delayed language development in multicultural families. This study is about the understanding, educational support, and practical direction of young children with language development delays in multicultural families and teachers who guide them in the field of early childhood education through the experiences and support needs of early childhood teachers who guided young children with language development delays in multicultural families.
