The purpose of this study is to analyze the aspects of the child’s cognitive development and language development. The data of this study were collected from 1,017 children, and their parents and their teachers who participated in the Panel Study of Korean Children 2012 by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, stepwise regression analysis. Research results in cognitive development and language development of girls was better than those of boys. Further, first child’s language development were higher than subordinated child’s language development. In addition, child’s sex, home environment, the mother’s education, and teacher’s efficacy variables affected on the child’s cognitive development. The child’s sex, birth order, home environment, and teacher’s efficacy variables affected the child’s language development. Child’s sex, home environment, and teacher’s efficacy variable had a positive impact on the child’s cognitive development and language development.
