This study was conducted to verify its effectiveness by applying the K-Star+ innovative teaching method to university speaking education. The research method applied the K-Star+ method to the K University"s liberal arts selection course, "Communication and Speaking" in the first semester of 2023, designed and conducted classes suitable for speaking education with a six-week Project Module, and its effectiveness was investigated. The subjects of the study were university students in the first to fourth grades who took the course. Students" opinions were also investigated through the satisfaction surveys. The results of applying the K-Star+ method to college student speaking education were as follows. First, the method was an effective learning model that could promote a student-centered approach in university speaking education. Second, it was a learning model that promoted active participation of students. Third, as a team-based teaching method, process-based learning such as collaboration between student facilitators and learners was carried out. Fourth, it was possible to provide timely and constructive feedback on students" speaking skills in online and offline spaces. Fifth, speaking and writing using online content were integrated. In conclusion, the K-Star+ method was estimated to be an effective teaching method that allows college students to actively participate in speaking education by conducting discussions, using online tools, and reflecting student facilitators.
