The multinational formation of the Korean diaspora cannot be overlooked in its colonial history during the Japanese colonial era. The continental expansion policy of Japanese imperialism expanded to the Eurasian continent such as Manchuria and the Soviet Union, as well as to Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the Namyang Islands. Due to the forced conscription and conscription of the Japanese Empire, it was inevitable for Koreans to move and settle on the maritime basis beyond borders. The Zainichi society that originated from travel is the starting point of the Korean diaspora in Japan, the colonial suzerain. The Korean Diaspora faced various political, economic and social problems in Japan. In order to publicize the reality of not only Zainichi but also minority issues in overseas Korean communities, he founded various types of media. The first Japanese magazine for Koreans in Japan 『Democracy Joseon』·『Joseon Review』·『Korean Review』·『Cheonggu』·『Samchully』·『Hurumon Culture』can be said to be media that connects the lineage of social, cultural, and literary history from the formative period of Zainichi society to the present. Ethnic publications in Japan focus on the transnational movement, contact, exchange, and daily experience of Koreans crossing the border as a maritime-related narrative that fiercely survived through the sea. In order to review the scene of the lively life of the transnationally formed Korean diaspora based on the maritime, the migration and settlement of the transnational Korean diaspora will be reviewed, focusing on reporting, coverage, reportage, documentary, and discourse on incidents and accidents in Japan–Korea Ethnic Magazine.
