This paper examines the influence of Alba Chunkuk, one of the largest online intermediaries for part-time job seekers and employers. We give critical insights into the user experience of Alba Chunkuk users-both part-timers and employers alike-with regards to: effectiveness of information presented, interaction between part-timers and employers, and contribution to social issues. We also analyze the interface of Alba Chunkuk's website, deriving several design implications to enhance users' approaches to the service. Research methods include semi-structured interviews, surveys, and hybrid card sorting. Our results show that overall, the usability and satisfaction ratings of Alba Chunkuk are neither particularly positive nor negative-its performance is not noticeably outstanding. The major areas of weakness are: 1) low credibility of information provided despite users' high reliance on it, 2) lack of a platform for sustained interactions between part-timers and employers, 3) limited attentiveness on social issues, and 4) the overly complex website. Recommendations include: implementation of filters to confirm information in job notices and resumes, a more direct contact system, socially beneficial services for broader groups, and the simplification of its UI and information categorization.
