This study investigated the effect on improvement of scalp condition in 40's-60's women who begin to suffer from aging, by complex intake of collagen which was famous for enhancement of skin and enzyme food for digestion and absorption. It was conducted for 12 weeks to 15 persons in each group, by categorizing into a combined intake group of collagen and enzyme food(CE), a intake group of collagen(C), a intake group of enzyme food(E) and control group(Cont.). They took collagen or enzyme food, 6 g/2 times/day with every morning and evening meal. The results could be arranged as follows; microbial quantity, sebum, keratin, erythema index, pH of the scalp of CE group were shown to be decreased 14.03%, 12%, 28.03%, 8.57%, 9.30% after intake experiment. They were 1.2 times, 1.7 times, 3.1 times, 1.3 times, 1.2 times, comparing with them of C group each, respectively. And they were 1.1 times, 1.0 times, 1.4 times, 2.1 times, 1.6 times, comparing with them of E group each, respectively. From above results, we found that combined intake of collagen and enzyme food had greater effect on improvement of scalp of 40's-60's women, comparing with single intake of them.
