The purpose of this study is to investigate the parent education that help the 36 month old or younger children with language developmental delay and their mother on interaction and communicative abilities. The parents education program consisted of 10 sessions in total. The results of this study can be concluded as follows: First, through the parents education for the promotion of interaction, parents' interactions showed more responsive behaviors and less instructive behaviors. Secondly, through the parents education for the promotion of interaction, mothers' communicative behaviors showed less active communication and non-reaction and more responses. Thirdly, through the parents education for the promotion of interaction, children's responses increased after mothers' start of the communication. Fourthly, through the parents education for the promotion of interaction, children with language developmental delay showed less 'gestures+ vocalization' and more 'vocalization+communication'. As discussed above, parents education for the promotion of interaction would affect mothers' interaction behaviors positively, while affecting their disabled children's communication and behavioral development positively.
