Development of social enterprise programs for grassroots community led by non-government organizations is one of the key factors in rural development happening in developed countries like that of South Korea, which started developing its grassroots community especially the farmers. Philippines, as a developing country, is struggling to achieve a sustainable economic growth. St. Peter Academy of Alegria Foundation Inc. (SPAAFI), a non-government organization operating in Alegria, in the southwestern part of Cebu Province in the Philippines has been developing the grassroots community of farmers by engaging them into a social enterprise program. This study aims to evaluate the social enterprise program if it has brought significant improvements to the economic conditions of the farmers in the area.
