This study evaluates the impact of fertilizer subsidy program (FSP) on agricultural productivity in Ghana. Using district level data, we estimate the agricultural production function for Ghana by incorporating a spatially heterogeneous agricultural production to generate the output elasticities before and after five years of implementing the FSP. The results show that the output elasticities improved across the country after implementing the FSP.
