Girls in the MZ generation living, in the present world, are showing interest not only in forming their own new culture but also through global issues such as feminism, LGBTQ, and racism. They are asserting their thoughts while at the same ime obscuring the ordinary general standards that exist and creating new values. However, the image of the ‘girl’ in the animation is a portrayal of society and is an image that is bound to embody both the viewers and the audience. ‘Girl’ is sometimes depicted as a being that deviates from the boundaries of traditional girls at certain points but still possesses the qualities of being an innocent girl. Therefore, this study selected four works by Walt Disney’s <Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs (1937)>, <Tangled (2010)>, Studio Ghibli’s <Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (1984)>, and <Spirited Away (2001)> to analyze the existence of girls in society and the girls in the world in animation.
