This study was designed to analyze a part of Kwon-bok’s consciousness of recording through the comparison between 『Naamyurok(南游錄)』 and 『Kyonamyilrok(嶠南日錄)』 in his travelogue. As a result of the study, it was found that his family has been connected to the academic background of various Soron scholars since his grandfather, Gewon-ikmun. Their relationship was more than just a peer relationship with them performing their duties, but maintained a solid relationship through learning and marriage. In particular, Hongyangho(洪良浩) had a close relationship with the three generations of Kwon over 40 years. In terms of composition and content, both 『Naamyurok(南游錄)』 and 『Kyonamyilrok(嶠南日錄)』 embody the basic elements as travel records. However, since it was an official business trip for a special position called Inspector Hum, dispatched by the city government, several changes in recording methods different from general travel records were identified. First, a separate subheading was prepared to distinguish between public and private records in the same travel experience by separately describing the contents corresponding to each. Second, in the daily technical process, the format of the travel record was formalized through repetition of specific elements. Through ‘Chema(遞馬)･Malma(秣馬)･Jieng(支應)･Chincham(出站)･Raegyeon(來見)･Yigeon(入見)･Seomun(書問)･Munan(問安)’ etc., it was possible to read the freedom, sensibility, or efforts to differentiate themselves from paid records by repeatedly recording official support, interviews, and meetings with local officials related to each local government office.
