전통시장의 지속성 확보를 위한 ESG 평가지표 개발과 활용에 관한 연구

This study was conducted to develop reasonable indicators necessary for rapid feasibility assessment to protect the traditional market and to self-reliant without support from the government or local governments. We have also derived a total of 15 evaluation indicators and 33 detailed diagnostic items based on previous studies such as related reports, books, papers, and data from leading ESG evaluation institutions at home and abroad. In order to derive evaluation criteria for each field, basic evaluation criteria for evaluating ESG in the traditional market were presented by referring to the definition of basic diagnosis items in the K-ESG guideline. As a result of analyzing the importance of each item through the Focus Group Interview(FGI) method to verify the derived evaluation indicators, all items were investigated to have an average value of 4.0 or higher and all evaluation indicators were employed as they were. According to experts" opinions, the higest measured items were waste management in the environment(E), community contribution and fair marketing in the society(S), and merchant organization and transparency in the governance(G). In the governance structure(G), merchant association composition and transparency showed the highest measurement with 6.8 points, indicating that the existence of an organization for operation had the greatest impact on securing the sustainability of the traditional market. The importance of ESG evaluation indicators in traditional markets can be seen in the order of society(S), environment(E), and governance(G), considering relationship with local communities and securing merchant association independence.
