This study was conducted to find out how selection factors for educational institutions influence learning satisfaction, need for achievement, and recommendation intention in the university students majoring in cooking. For this study a survey was taken for students attending university and college in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do province. A total of 262 samples were used for research, and analysis was performed through SPSS 24.0. As results of factor analysis, selection factors for educational institutions identified 2 factors (internal factor and external factor), learning satisfaction identified 4 factors (relationship satisfaction, education program, career counseling, and learning environment), and need for achievement, and recommendation intention identified 1 factor respectively. The results of study are as follows; First, internal factor and external factor have a significant positive (+) effect on relationship satisfaction, education program, career counseling, and learning environment. Second, internal factor and external factor have a significant positive (+) effect on need for achievement and recommendation intention. Third, relationship satisfaction, education program, career counseling, and learning environment have a significant positive (+) effect on recommendation intention. Fourth, need for achievement has a significant positive (+) effect on recommendation intention. Therefore, educational institutions will have to provide more various and creative education program, a variety of information, proper educational environment, facilities to students.
