The purpose of the study is to examine the name setting of members in machine learning for AI object detection of traditional architecture components based on drawings. As for the method of the study, photos and drawings were analyzed for the architectures in which the names of the components were controversial. The results of the study are as follows. In order for AI to distinguish between pillars and Jangchoseog, it is necessary to organize the definition of those in detail. Parts that have a similar appearance to a Po member, such as Po-dongjaju and Po-daegong, cause confusion where AI can be perceived as fear. Chungyang, Dori and Changbang are also likely to be confused because it is difficult to distinguish the members by the presence or absence of section lines. It is necessary to consider the difference in how parts that take the form of a roof, such as a doubled-roof, skylight and chimney, differ from the roof of a two stories building.
