The purpose of this study is to develop a value network analysis model for creating stakeholder values in mobile communications industry. Most researches on revitalizing mobile communications industry have been mainly focused on demand perspective to evaluate their services or market values. This study analyzes value chains and develops value networks for mobile communications incumbents, content providers, and platform providers. The major constituent elements of mobile communications in this study are categorized into two parts: 1) the static sector includes institutional arrangements and resources and 2) the dynamic sector includes market consumptions. The value network between actual stakeholder and accompanied development scheme can be derived by analyzing roles and interactions on dynamic sectors of services-contents-platforms. The results of this study in the digital convergence environment can be used as a guideline in mobile communications industry as well as in other various fields.
