Ouyang Xiu's prose "Sang Yi biography" only records that the biographee caught thieves and stealing things, not involved in this important historical facts about Sang Yi dead in Haoshuichuan war. The later scholars also explore the reason of that, for instance, simplicity, mutuality etc. if exploring carefully ,there is no room for discussion. Actually, Ouyang Xiu had a heavy psychological on his mind to cautiously avoid the evils, and took Han Qi, Fan Zhongyan and other old friends into considerations, "Sang Yi biography" is not mentioned his dead in Haoshuichuan war, especially important, this prose should have written to cut out special summary to express his views on stealing things, but the wonderfulpart about Sang Yi dead in Haoshuichuan war in this article is not the point and there is no need to write this secondary paragraph, which not only makes the topic more prominent, also can achieve as a "good pass" purpose for Sima Qian, but also can avoid the branch out in the real dangerous situations or incur scourge.
