As the interests of integrated education increased in many areas, the integration between arts and education has been actively developed. The interests lead to create arts integration classes from lower school to high school. The revised textbook (2009) for lower school from 1 to 3 graders was written based on the subject integration. However the curriculum developers should re-develop the class subjects and create own arts integrated class. Therefore, this study provides a methodology of arts integration for the lower grades in elementary school (as given consideration to the needs of appropriate integration methodology in the integration education class curriculums). This study suggests one of the methodologies for developing arts integration class based on the arts integration class curriculums. which were developed for ‘Arts+ integrated curriculum to art’, a project of the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture. The study includes the examples of the classes as the writer being a dancing PTA (program teaching artist) in the program and the interviews from the head teacher of program to demonstrate the educational effectiveness.
