The study of the dwelling site of the Neolithic in Korea dates back to 70 years since the beginning of the Ruins of Gungsan which was excavated in North Korea in 1950. In the early Neolithic, the focus was on restoration of the upper structure of the house, In South Korea, the structure of the dwelling site, the location of the dwelling site and the location of the village were examined. In this paper, we analyze the excavation survey report of the Neolithic dwelling site ruins reported in North Korea and examine characteristics and changes in the excavation survey and result report. As a result of the review, it was confirmed that there are many changes in the quality and quantity of the system or content of the excavation report according to the time. This is not limited to the sites of the Neolithic, but is a phenomenon that has arisen through North Korea's archeological research. The excavation report of the dwelling site of the Neolithic in North Korea Since the mid 1970s, the excavation survey of the remains of the Neolithic dwelling site has been drastically reduced and the excavation report has been simplified. The study of the Neolithice in Korea was based on the excavation survey and research results of the ruins of Gungsan, Jitapri, Geumtanri and Seopohang in North Korea. Due to uncertainty about the report of excavation of remains of Neolithic in North Korea, it is difficult to advance research through the Neolithic ruins of North Korea.
