1. According to Dewey, “habits are arts.” This means not only that habit is not fixed, but also that habits creatively are to be changed. 2. According to Dewey, “man is creature of habit, not of reason nor yet of instinct.” This means that human being can remake his habit. Therefore “all virtues and vices are habits.” 3. The cinema, the House of Hummingbird deals with a number of habits such as patriarchal system, meritocracy, domestic violence, misogyny, sexism. etc. The heroine, Eunhee have experienced these habits and suffered from theses. 4. Sufferings from experiences of these bad habits lead to the reconstruction of experiences. The way of the reconstructing in experiences is the ‘dramatic rehearsal’ which means deliberation of various competing possible lines of action. 5. The following conclusion is that morality is continuing process not a fixed achievement. According to Dewey, “morals means growth of conduct in meaning; at least it means that kind of expansion in meaning which is consequent upon observations of the conditions and outcome of conduct”
