This paper examines the theoretical backgrounds related to generative literature including its history, definition, authorship and copyright, and experience of readers, which is readership. The paper elaborates how the definitions of a word, robot have changed as time goes by as well as the perception of humans on that has. It also presents teaching methods of digital humanities pedagogy about how to utilize certain web sites or digital tools such as Google Spreadsheet, Twitter, Plot Generator and so on. Students are asked to make their own digital literary works. Through these class activities, college students can generate literary works automatically as well as enhance digital literacy. To study artificial intelligence in the field of literature can help one to contemplate what human nature is, how the future of literature will be developed and how AI robots and humans will co-exist or not.
