Snail mucin is a glycoprotein surrounded by a carbohydrate coating, a substance that imparts viscosity to mucus and has been currently used as a cosmetic material. Human skin is continuously exposed to solar ultraviolet (UV), and it causes various physiological changes on human skin such as wrinkles formation and sky dryness.
