본고는 설화 <구렁덩덩 신선비>에 나타나는 신선비의 불균형적인 정서 표출 방식과 그에 따른 인간관계 맺기 방식에 방점을 두고 <구렁덩덩 신선비>가 궁극적으로 누구를 위한 이야기인지, 누구에게 힘을 실어줄 수 있는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 그리고 신선비의 자기중심적인 관계 맺기 방식에 대해 끝까지 감내하며 신선비와의 관계 회복을 위해 노력하고자 하는 셋째딸의 모습이 문학치료 상담 과정에서 어떤 의의를 가질 수 있는지도 아울러 고찰하였다. 분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 신선비와 셋째딸의 불균형적인 관계 맺기 방식은 다음 과정을 통해 드러난다. 첫째, <구렁덩덩 신선비>에서 신선비가 아내를 떠나는 이유는 아내의 실수를 무관심과 불신으로 이해하는 데에서 문제가 발생한 것이라 할 수 있다. 둘째, 떠나는 신선비의 정서는 떠나는 이가 원하는 때에 그가 원하는 방식으로 풀리게 된다고 할 수 있는데, 이는 그때를 위해서는 아내의 기다림과 인내가 요구된다. 이러한 일방적이고 불균형적인 관계 맺기 방식에도 불구하고 셋째딸이 이 모든 해결의 부담을 떠안는 것은 심약한 존재의 회복 능력을 마련해줄 수 있는 유일한 주체가 셋째딸이기 때문이며, 이는 인간중심치료의 원리와도 맞닿아 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 일관되고 지속적인 지지와 존중은 패배적이고 부정적인 자기 평가를 하는 신선비에게 새로운 자기가치를 구조화하는 데 기여할 수 있음을 보여준다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 맥락은 최근 방영한 TV 프로그램 <우리 이혼했어요>의 사례를 통해서도 적용 가능함을 시사한다. 따라서 <구렁덩덩 신선비>를 활용한 문학치료 상담은 내담자의 자기보고를 활성화하는 계기가 되며, 서정시의 서사화하는 과정은 내담자의 문제적 특성을 객관적으로 관찰할 수 있는 기회를 제공할 것으로 전망된다.
The main focus was on the disproportionate emotional expression of Shin Seonbi in the folk tale <GureongDeongDeong Sinseonbi> and the subsequent way of establishing relationships, and to see who the <GureongDeongDeong Sinseonbi> could ultimately be for and who it could empower. Second, the sentiment of leaving freshness can be said to be solved in the way that the leaving person wants when he wants, which requires his wife's patience and patience. Despite this unilateral and disproportionate approach to relationships, the third daughter bears the burden of all these solutions because she is the only one who can provide the resilience of a weak being, which is also in line with Carl Rogers' principle of human respect counseling. Consistent and continuous support and respect show that Sinseonbi, who makes defeated and negative self-evaluations, can contribute to structuring new self-worth. In this context, the latest TV show, "We're Divorced." The case suggests that it is also applicable. Therefore, literary therapy counseling using <GureongDeongDeong Sinseonbi> is expected to activate the self-report of the counsellor, and the narrative process of lyric poetry is expected to provide an opportunity to objectively observe the problematic characteristics of the counsellor.
