This study analyses environmental preference predictors considering emotional factors. The research method is focused on literature reviews and case study. The study examines emotion, emotional factors, environmental preference and Kaplan&Kaplan model. Emotional Factors are consisted of shape, color and texture. This study mainly uses informational variables model among the four environmental preference domains for analysis of environmental preference predictors. This model explains there are four predictors- coherence, complexity, legibility, mystery and each predictors provides environmental data. Based on these two main concepts, this study conducts a field investigate. The scope of this study is korean museum which located at Seoul- National museum of Korea, Natioanl museum of modern and contemporary art Korea-Seoul, Seoul museum of art- Seosomun. The results of the study are as follow; First, various shape factors, white, brown and gray color, and material and stereoscopic textures are remarkably used. Second, the coherence and legibility are highly expressed, on the other hand the complexity and mystery are less expressed. And last, the shape is the most appeared factors and the color is the least factors. This study contributes on applying an approach of environmental psychology to indoor environment and applying the emotional aspect to environmental preference.
