Filipendula glaberrima, commonly known as meadowsweet, is a plant endemic to South Korea. It is economically important as a food source and used as a medicine in treating ailments. Previous studies have shown that F. glaberrima contained monotropitoside, (+)-catechin, and β-sitosterol 3-O-glucoside, and studies of the same genus, Filipendula, indicated that flavonoids and polyphenolic constituents were high.
