This study aims to suggest implications regarding participants’ motivation necessary for improving professional competence and for acquiring professional knowledge in real estate education by identifying and analyzing what factors in participants’ satisfaction with the education affect field application and job performance. To that end, this study attempts to empirically investigate the relationship between educational satisfaction and field application or job performance by coming up with motivation of educational participation as a key factor.
As a result of hypothesis verification through regression analysis, first, educational contents regarding participation motivation, teaching ability and educational environment were statistically significant in educational satisfaction. Second, educational satisfaction was statistically significant in value-related application of business and practical application of business. Third, educational contents, teaching ability and educational environment of the motivation for participation in education were statistically significant in the application of valued business and practical business. Fourth, educational contents regarding participation motivation, teaching ability and educational environment were statistically significant in value-related job performance and practical job performance. Based on the results of this study, the implications of this study are as follows.
First, as for educational contents, teaching ability and educational environment that form participants’ motivation for the participation in real estate education, legally prescribed educational institutions should make efforts to diversify and update educational contents, to improve and maintain higher educational level, to improve educational environment and to maintain cleanliness. Second, participants’ satisfaction with real estate practical education can lead to their increased confidence, responsibility and work expectation in the future, and it should be recognized that the educational contents are factors that increase the job efficiency in participants’ field application. Third, educators should organize and refine the contents of education so that logical and systematic education can be done based on realistic and practical theories, experiences, and cases of major fields.
