Floods are the most frequent and destructive among the various types of natural disasters. In order to analyze the amount water in rivers and streams in flooding time obtaining the level of water will help to predict and estimate the damages, this information can help for taking proper decisions for disaster mitigation The accurate mapping of a flood depends on the existence of several well-distributed tide gauges but to have rapid and fairly accurate information aerial images using UAV can be very useful.
