This article deals with the crisis situation of local private universities and university policy. Local private universities are already in crisis, and urgent policies are needed now.
Local universities are the foundation of local higher education and have the effect of maintaining the local economy. In other words, if the local university is withdrawn, the vitality of the local community will also decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the stable existence of local universities for local rehabilitation.
In this context, the state"s policy and public intervention is necessary. In this article, as a means of such intervention, a plan for the promotion of government-dependent private higher education institutions and the implementation of free education through publicization of private universities is presented.
The public-private university promotion policy has many parts that have been embodied through a number of policy studies, and has been transformed into a private school innovation support project, and has advanced support announcements.
On the other hand, the implementation of free education through the publicization of local private universities needs to be discussed now. Of course, besides these discussions, there are many discussions for fostering local universities. In the context of fostering local universities, I hope that the policy flow of local private universities will be created through various discussions.
