The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of balance training of amateur golfers on distance and shot performance. To this end, for men using a golf driving range located in Gyeonggi-do, the training group was divided into a training group that treated balance training and a control group, which was a comparative group to verify the effect of balance training.
Through this procedure, the following conclusions were obtained.
First, the 8-week balance training showed a significant interaction in the improvement of the distance between the training group and the control group, and also showed a significant interaction effect on the head speed. In addition, in the left and right distance, the training group and the control group showed a significant interaction effect, and balance training helped improve golf skill.
Second, the 8-week balance training showed a significant interaction effect in muscle strength in the shot performance of the training group and the control group, and also significant interaction effect in the powers. It also showed significant interaction in agility. On the other hand, in balance, there was no significant interaction, so there was no positive effect on the treatment effect of balance training.
