Current study was conducted to suggest a variety of meaningful implications through comparison based on the IPA model as perceived by Honbap restaurant consumers. In this study, the IPA(importance-performance analysis) technique that allows easy comparison of important factors and satisfaction factors for various service attributes perceived by consumers who have experienced eating alone in a restaurant was employed. Adults over 19 years of age who have visited and ate at a restaurant alone within the last 1 year were used for the sample. Online survey was conducted for about 2 months from March 2020 to May 2020, and the questionnaire was distributed to 400 people. Among the collected questionnaires, a total of 351 responses were used as analysis data excluding 49 respondents who did not experience eating at a restaurant and unscrupulous respondents. Frequency analysis and IPA matrix analysis were performed using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results of this study suggested that there was a slight difference between the IPA analysis result, which was analyzed without distinguishing by generation. In particular, this study was able to suggest the necessity of detailed management for elements whose importance or satisfaction was evaluated relatively low through IPA analysis.
