This study aims to suggest the effectiveness of height growth and hair tissue minerals through toxic heavy metal exhaustion in adolescents by verifying the effects of the combined growth exercise program on the height growth and hair tissue minerals of adolescents. The subjects of this study were 30female students who participated in the combined growth exercise program for 3days a week and 15control groups. The 24week combined growth exercise program consisted of warm-up, main exercise, and cool-down. The measurement variables were height, body composition, flexibility, and hair tissue mineral variables. The measurement items were measured and evaluated 10 toxic heavy metals and 8 nutritional minerals for height, body composition, flexibility, and hair tissue minerals. The results of the study showed that the combined growth exercise program for 24weeks had a main effect and interaction effect in height, flexibility, weight and body fat after participation. In hair tissue minerals, the main effect and interaction effect were shown in mercury(Hg), lead(Pb), aluminum(Al), arsenic(As), barium(Ba) and antimony(Sb). However, there was no difference in cadmium(Cd), uranium(U), bismuth(Bi) and thallium(Tl) between groups. In nutritional minerals, zinc and sodium(Na) showed the main effect and interaction effect, and there was no difference between the groups. In conclusion, the accumulation of toxic heavy metals and the imbalance of nutritional minerals could affect not only the growth of children and adolescents but also the health condition and developmental development. Therefore, it is thought that participation in various programs of combined growth movement along with balance of nutrients and minerals which are the most basic can be a great help in growth, development and health improvement of children and adolescents in the growing period.
