The purpose of this study was to analyze the physical environment of specialized streets by utilizing pattern language. To achieve the research objectives, literature review was conducted on specialized streets and pattern languages, and the “Lafesta Cultural Street” where was located in the Goyang city was set as the study destination and analyzed. As a result of the analysis of the presence or absence of a physical environment, it was generally well-equipped except for publicity and relaxation, and these results were interpreted as being created by emphasizing the commercial aspect rather than the public/rest aspect. As another result of analysis by factors of specialized streets, the Lafesta needed to strengthen its attractiveness by expanding attractive facilities, and it was required to review the introduction of leisure, relaxation, and learning facilities for teenagers and the elderly. In addition, it was analyzed that the need for strategies to attract commercial facilities based on the concept and target setting of each building group was suggested in order to strengthen the competitiveness of commercial facilities. It was necessary to install performances, landscaping, and experience facilities to induce pedestrians to stay in the area in order to strengthen mobility. On the other hand, for convenience, it was analyzed that public transport links, parking lots, and benches were excellently constructed, and the necessity of creating a rest space through additional installation of landscape facilities was suggested to enhance relaxation.
