In this paper, the trajectory tracking control of an actuator–saturated vehicle is addressed. The linear and angular velocities of the vehicle are assumed to be the control inputs. Since actuator saturations are assumed to be presented, the resulting open–loop system is nonlinear. Two preliminary control designs are discussed. The first one is able to guarantee local convergence of the tracking error while the second one ensures the global stabilization of the system. Simulation results support the viability of the given approach.
