The purpose of this study is to scrutinize the effects of important factors on technology commercialization performance generated by technology transfers from the view point of technology consumer. Specifically, the study empirically investigated the impact of internal competency, environment, corporate characteristic, and technology characteristic of technology recipients on the satisfaction with technology transfers related to revenue, employment, productivity, and brand awareness. It was conducted on a total of 320 companies that signed a technology transfer contract between 2015 and 2018 through Daegu Technopark, a public technology trading agency. Data analysis was conducted on 237 technology recipients that responded to the survey. As a result of the multiple regression analysis, it was found that internal competency, environment, corporate characteristic, and technical characteristic significantly affected satisfaction with revenue and employment. The results also showed that internal competency, environment, and corporate characteristic had significant impacts on the satisfaction with increased productivity. Finally, impacts of internal competency and environment on the satisfaction with improved brand awareness were significant, whereas those of corporate characteristic and technical characteristic were not significant.
