This paper studies 5 types of materials which are titled Sok-ch'ŏn-cha-mun(󰡔續千字文󰡕) or Sok-ch'ŏn-cha(󰡔續千字󰡕) of Korea’s elementary education textbooks on the whole. Documents of Korea’s Sok-ch'ŏn-cha-mun are apposite to the case of Korea succeeded to result and critically accepted chu-hŭng-sa(周興嗣)’s Ch'ŏn-cha-mun(󰡔千字文󰡕), so Sok-ch'ŏn-cha-mun is comprised of four-letter words of one paragraph such as chu-hŭng-sa’s Ch'ŏn-cha-mun. Each author of Sok-ch'ŏn-cha-mun tried to embody the purpose to add variety to used Chinese character and content components. There are two characteristics of sort of Korea’s Sok-ch'ŏn-cha-mun. Firstly, it makes up for the lack of Ch'ŏn-cha-mun admiting utility as elementary education textbooks. Secondly, it asserts a new method of making elementary education textbooks providing proper evidence such as context and the degree of difficulty of chu-hŭng-sa’s Ch'ŏn-cha-mun. But, In both cases, they share a positive view of Ch'ŏn-cha-mun’s educational efficiency like as four-letter words of one paragraph. 5 types of materials of Sok-ch'ŏn-cha-mun are actually used in the education field. They have difference of used Chinese character, sentence structure and content components because of the educational surroundings. A review is needed the role as Ch'ŏn-cha-mun’s alternative textbook.
