The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the spatio-temporal distribution of the East and South Sea by using acoustic surveys. The acoustic data gathered by the echo sounder EK 60, EK 80 loaded in the research ship of the NIFS was analyzed by using an Echoview V 9.0. The investigated sea areas were the East and South Sea and the time of investigation was conducted 4 times in July, September, and November of 2017 and March of 2018 and the investigation was based on the distribution of fish and zooplankton. The spatio-temporal distribution of fish in July of 2017 was highly distributed between the northern East Sea and Busan and Wando and the distribution of zooplankton was like the distribution of fish. The distribution of fish in September was generally relatively high in the East Sea rather than the South Sea and Jeju island and the distribution of zooplankton was like the distribution of fish. The distribution of fish in November was high in the northern East and South Sea near Yeosu, but for zooplanktons, the distribution was high only in the northern East Sea. The distribution of fish in March of 2018 was high in the East Sea rather than the South Sea and mostly in the near Busan and Jeju island.
