The primary purpose of this study is to investigate fishery resources at Je-ju southwest sea area in the east china sea. The survey was executed 8 times on the Chonnam National University training ship ‘Saedongbaekho’ from 11st to 14th in July 2022. From the 8 time“s survery of resources the total fish species were 18 fish species and the number of individuals were 1,722 fishes. And the total fish weight caught at the bottom trawl survey was about 70,155g. Based on the number of individuals caught during the survey, Matuta Iunaris was the first dominant species(80.3%), followed by Trachurus Japonics(6%) and Loligo Edulis(3.5%). Also regarding the body length of dominant species the the most body length was small size 10 to 50 mm, whose individuals was 1,525 individuals and was comprised 97.69% of all individuals. The big size fish of commercial value in the caughted fishes was little, Only the length range of 51 to 150 mm and 101 to 150 mm were 30 individuals(2.31%). Regarding the weight of dominant species the the most weigth range was 31 to 40g, whose ratio was 84.88% of all weight value. The second weight(6.94%) was 21 to 30g and the third value was 41-50g(4.63%). The heavyweight fish of commercial value in the caught fishes, in common with fish length size, was little. Only the more larger weight fish in range 91 to 300g were about 0 5%. After all, we have conformed the fishery resources exhausted at Je-ju southwest sea area in the east china sea. Therfore, we need to make a concerted effort our fishing grounds protected efficiently.
