Gospel John chapter one says that the pre-existence Word was incarnated. This incarnation reveals the invisible God through the whole life of Jesus. And incarnation is the center of all the revelations of God. In particular, Logos is a means of God"s creation, salvation, and revelation. This incarnation of Logos became an important standard for distinguishing heresy in church history. And incarnation shows Christ"s divinity, humanity, and the relationship of divinity and humanity. In the recent theology this incarnation has been used to extend the meaning of deep incarnation.
From this point of view, the approach to truth and ethics of the incarnation is also important, but the approach to beauty of the incarnation is also important. The beauty of this incarnation is to reveal the beauty of God and to visualize God.
In particular, the link between ‘beauty of incarnation’ and ‘liberal education’ is important. Because it is important for the Christian personality education to examine the meaning of the incarnation, and the Christian personality education belongs to the liberal education. Therefore, the pursuit of the meaning of incarnation has a close relationship with liberal education.
It is important for the college students, who are mainstream in the sensible generation, to approach the incarnational meaning of God’s revelation and eye-level education from an aesthetic point of view, not just from the logical and ethical side. Therefore, Through this Paper we will look that ‘beauty of incarnation’ has a close relationship with liberal education and that the approach from the aesthetic aspect of incarnation is more effective in liberal education.
