The hair beauty of the Korea has been consistently fulfilled with Western cutting methods which do not consider the characteristics of Koreans. However, recent domestic beauty industry requires a development of a creative and unique haircut technique that meets the diverse needs of Korean consumers. This study has devised a haircut technique that can easily and quickly create an artistic hair style considering the characteristics of Koreans. The research method was consisted of extracting the basic factors for Korean haircut technology development, the development of haircut technology, and the effectiveness of this technique was verified for the on the job practitioners who were trained and experienced with this technique. Korean haircut technique is a haircut method of forming a form in which line, face, and shape are combined by making full use of the ‘one-length’, ‘graduation’, and ‘layer’ methods that are already familiar to all the hair designers. This technique is easy for the designer to learn, and it is possible to create various styles. In addition, it can also help to prevent complaints and speed up the procedures. So, using Korean haircut technique can make pursuing higher profitability by improving customer loyalty and rotation rate.
