In the midst of a huge storm on Sunday school and the next generation, it is a meaningful step that the education team of the General Assembly of Presbyterian Church in Korea conducts surveys on 2,000 churches with church ministers, teachers, parents, and students in order to formulate future strategies and to establish education policies.
Taking this into account, the present writer is to focus on an analysis of the survey data on 1,885 youth group students. Based on statistical results of middle and high school, this study, first, analyzes general situations by specifically reviewing nine subjects when it comes to youth group ministry in local churches and future generations.
Secondly, in synthesizing the statistical analysis and other significant surveys on Sunday School, the researcher suggests ten implications and directions to revitalize the next generation ministries in Korean churches.
In conclusion, while considering theological seminaries, Sunday schools, teachers and pastors with youth group ministers, the present writer proposes five futuristic strategies for further studies and practical tasks on the next generation ministries.
