The purpose of this study is verification of mediating effect of physical self-perception in the relationship between the motive type and satisfaction for yoga participation of yoga experts. The research relies on a survey that consists of 183 yoga experts from yoga centers in Seoul area who have participated in yoga for more than a year. Among them, except for the incomplete or non response surveys, the surveys of 177 yoga experts were actually used in this research. For data processing, SPSS/win version program 13.0 and Amos 7.0 statistics package were used. As a result, first, the verification result of mediating effect of physical self-perception revealed that factor for accomplishment completely mediates satisfaction for participation through physical self-perception in the relationship between factor for accomplishment and satisfaction for participation. Second, the verification result of mediating effect of physical self-perception revealed that mental health factor completely mediates satisfaction for participation through physical self-perception in mental health factor. Third, the verification result of mediating effect of physical self-perception revealed that social relationship factor completely mediates satisfaction for participation through physical self-perception in the relationship between social relationship factor and satisfaction for participation. Fourth, the verification result of mediating effect of physical self-perception did not reveal any mediating effect in the relationship between physical health factor and satisfaction for participation.
