Binyang-nandong is one of the stone caves in Long-men grottoes which was famous for the imperial family stone caves for the later Northern Dynasty, and it was cutted a canal for Her Majesty Wenzhao Mrs. Go. Her Majesty Wenzhaowho is master of this stone cave was not only Xianwudi's mother also Xiaowendi's wife. Her Majesty Wenzhaowho is woman who is from Koguryo. Her son, Xianwudi, became the emperor at early ages after she died. As a result, Gaozhao-centric power on the distaff side of Xianwudi came into power of Northern Dynasty government. Gaozhao-centric power and his surroundings participated in establishing activities of Buddhist temples positively. These facts can be seen through 洛陽伽藍記. When Gaozhao holded political power, Koguryo and Northern Dynasty government entered into close diplomatic relations. When Koguryo used roadway as China mission, both land routes and water ways must be used. In case of water ways, they were reached at Luoyang via Shandong provice, and in case of land routes, they might be reached at Luoyang via Niaoningsheng. Thus land routes were passed by Niaoningsheng, I thought that stone caves production were formed with activity centering around Yixian.
