>This study enlightens existing problems in the course of executing regional development project and suggests various incentives for stimulating private financial investor's participation. Based on case study, we classify regional development project into 6 types by the level of PPP(public private partnership), sponsor, funds raising, risk sharing, etc. Also we find the existing problems in a point of view of financial investor. Furthermore, through survey and focus group interview, we extract the conditions and incentives to activate private participation in regional development project. For financial feasibility is essential for private investor, so basically incentive could make project/business more lucrative. Such as transparency of permission process, minimum revenue guarantee, tax reduction and gap funding, etc. are to be reinforced.
