The aim of this study is to analyze the words used repeatedly in Park Yong Rae´s poems with the view of poetic grammar. The result is as follows. First, ‘pullida' has various meanings in the existing dictionary, such as hint, reveal, appease and dissolve. In Pointage, it includes the meaning of the psychological condition and the expansion of space where the light shines. In Cuckoo´s Notes, it means the objective situation that the loneliness appears in natural phenomena and the chance to write a poem by which the loneliness can be dissolved. In Mailbox, it expresses the self-consciousness which tries to overcome the feeling of uneasiness and oppression. It also means the process of writing a poem, which reflects a self-conscious suffering. Second, ‘asamhan(aseumhan)' is derived from ‘aseumaseum' and ‘eoseumpure' which means the condition of indistinct memories and consciousness or unclear sight. It is a poetically coined word to be suitable for the poetic atmosphere. In Fence, it connotes the absence of a dead sister figuratively. In Three Months of Winter, the life of isolated low class is likened to sentiment of compassion. In Jeopbun, it expresses the mystical, secret and heavily sensual contact through the palate of unclear taste. Third, ‘s' addition in ‘git(s)' or a compound word is used as a device to emphasize the delicate and elaborate atmosphere and significance of the poem. In Fountain Site, the repetition of rhythm is found as a device for the sound effect of consonant to pay attention to the stress of meaning. In Sunshade, compound words are used to have a careful and exquisite description as well as the effect of folklike and specific meaning.
