This article aims to analyze the conception, category, character of context. We focused on concept of context is a kind of prompt action while some several scene of communication. This context interfere individual’s composition of meaning and selection of expression. We rebuilt the concept of context that has intimately relevant to establishing text. So, It is not a kind of ‘fixed’ nor ‘given’ things, it activated by semantic composition agent’s selection and recognition of meaning. We tried to redefine that context is some kind of elements that was activated by semantic composition agent who has to express or interpret meaning. In order to settle this conception and definition, we have to distinguish ‘context-elements’ from context. because these elements are characterized as a potential ingredient fo context. In other words, context is activated by semantic composition agent to express or understand the each meaning of text. This progress of activation as semantic composition agent’s process of cognition, We called it ‘contextualization’.
