Report Errors
The study compared popular young children’s conflicts resolution strategies with unpopular young children’s. This study designed to provide information regarding young children’s peer conflicts and their difficulties using conflicts resolution strategies. The participants of this study were 7 popular children and 3 unpopular children selected by peer-nomination method. The results of a study comparing conflict resolution strategies between popular and unpopular young children were as follows. First, popular children used a lot of integrating, avoiding, and obliging strategies, and less dominating and compromising strategies. Second, unpopular children used much of dominating and avoiding strategies, and less of integrating and obliging strategies.
