This study is a descriptive relation study on the relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention according to personality types of nurses. Subjects were 250 nurses working at a general hospital in city P. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentile, standard deviation, t-test. ANOVA and Scheffe's. As a result, the highest number of nurses was found to have an indecisive type, optimistic type and success-oriented type. On a 5-point scale, the mean score for organizational commitment was 2.82±.86 and the mean for turnover intention was 3.59±.97. With increasing work experience of subjects, educational background of community college, positioned in a wanted department and no night work, organizational commitment was high. Turnover intention was low when the nurses were positioned in a wanted department and there was no night work. In terms of personality types, organizational commitment was highest in a downhill type and turnover intention was highest in an uphill type.
