The purpose of this study was to develop the simulation program for learning of sex-linkage Inheritance and to verify its effectiveness. The simulation was realized based on the experiment of sex-linkage Inheritance. The learning cycle model was selected to provide students with opportunities to improve scientific thinking abilities through the process of scientific inquiry. To determine its effectiveness, this program was evaluated by expert group and small group of 70 high school students in the second grade. SPSS was used to analyze scores between pre test and post test and questionnaires were used to survey students' responses and opinions. Developed program consisted of inquiring stage, conceptional introduction stage, conceptional application stage and evaluation stage. Inquiring stage provides simulated experiment of Drosophila's white eyes inheritance and wing-shaped inheritance. Conceptional introduction stage allows students to study the contents of sex-linkage inheritance, glossary and the relation between genes and chromosomes. Conceptional application stage provides various inheritances phenomena. Experimental group's performance scores between pre and post test was significantly different(p<0.01). Most of the students showed very affirmative responses to the program. This kind of simulated program will also be very useful as teaching-learning materials in the rapidly changing age.
