This report is to solve the confusion of the shape and semantics of Chinese Characters that derived from misunderstandings on original meanings of the transformed character elements. This report also analysed the process of transformation of the segments of Chinese Characters through researching the process of transformation of the script and established the transformation phenomenon and the basic rule shown on the square-hand writing(script) that we are using currently. This report can contribute by providing effective Chinese Character Education using the product of this analysis. Mr. Huhjin, a famous linguist studying Chinese character focusing on character shape during the Han dynasty, suggested the theory of the Six calligraphic styles of Chinese characters analysing the structure and shape(type) focused on the character shape of the small seal character in the explanation of Chinese character segments. However, after that, the Chinese character has big change in character shape experiencing the process from the simplified square hand writing to the square hand writing. By means of the six calligraphic styles of Chinese characters one can basically find out the transformation of the segment and its regularity appeared in the transformation process. One should have the ability to analyse the segment structuring the character shape referring to the script change with the time to find out the character shape. Because the Chinese character using currently is the script experienced the process of transforming from the seal character to the simplified square-hand writing(script), its gap between old character system is so big that the confusion on the teaching area is not small. As shown on the above, because the base time standard is different between the publishers the common denomination to understand and interpret the character shape and etymology that confuses the learners and arising educational problem is therefore not simple. Solving those problems suggested and providing efficient teaching on the character shape require us to explain basic Chinese character in character element and make the table of character elements. Also, solving semantic confusion derived from too many variations of character elements is urgent. This paper analyses the regularity of character elements and the structure of Chinese characters focusing on two cases. One case is that more than two character elements going into single one and the other is a character element separating into more than two different ones. This paper suggests more systematic and scientific educational method on Chinese character through understanding the regularity of the Chinese character elements and the structure of the Chinese characters.
